Security:

Bolts are used instead of screws on the hinges and lock, along with a bolted, heavy-duty cast iron hasp & staple lock. The door and surrounding framework are reinforced for added strength. Optional security windows are available for complete peace of mind.

Doors:

Standard single door: 2ft 10in wide
Standard double doors: 2ft 5in wide each
Double door options: 4ft or 5ft total width
Standard door height: 5ft 10in (taller height available on request)
Doors are usually positioned 8–10 inches from the panel edge unless otherwise requested.

Windows:

Security Window

Security window type, ideal for preventing unauthorized access and reducing visibility.
Size: 508mm (W) × 127mm (H) (approx. 20″ × 5″)
Fixed, Perspex only.

Standard Window

Standard window type.
Size: 430mm (W) × 525mm (H) × 2mm (approx. 17″ × 21″)

Roofing:

Heavy-Duty Felt Roofing

40kg heavy-duty cross-threaded green mineral felt. This premium felt is far more durable and resistant to tearing compared to cheaper standard felts, providing long-lasting protection against the elements.

Onduline Roofing

Onduline is manufactured from cellulose fibres impregnated with bitumen, then compressed into a 3mm thick corrugated sheet with 50mm corrugations. Developed over 60 years ago, Onduline is a proven and highly reliable roofing system. Our corrugated Onduline roofing is significantly more durable than felt and offers excellent long-term weatherproofing.

Breathable Membrane:

High vapour permeability allows the membrane to absorb vapour and keep the insulation layer dry. No ventilation gap is required. The membrane is totally waterproof, providing a secondary layer of protection against driving rain or snow.

20mm nominal thickness, pressure treated
Floor runners: 38mm × 50mm, running the shed length (unless requested otherwise)
Bearers: 3×2 CLS, running the shed width (unless requested otherwise)
Extra height option: adds 4 inches per extra height added

CLASSIC (Dip Treated)

  • Dip-treated cladding.
  • Tanalised 38×50mm framework improves strength and rigidity throughout the shed.
  • 16mm cladding (planed to a 12mm finish), specially designed with a rebated profile.
  • Protected against mould and fungal damage.
  • Economical, budget-friendly option.

TANALISED (Pressure Treated)

  • 100% of the wood is tanalised (pressure treated and rot-resistant).
  • Tanalised 38×50mm framework for increased strength and rigidity.
  • 16mm cladding (planed to a 12mm finish), rebated for a superior weatherproof fit.
  • Ideal for general long-term, rot-resistant use and storage—especially where re-treatment may be difficult.

BEAST (Heavy-Duty Tanalised)

  • Sturdy, premium, low-maintenance option.
  • 100% of the wood is tanalised (pressure treated and rot-resistant).
  • Tanalised 3″×2″ (planed) heavy-duty framework.
  • Tanalised 25mm cladding (planed to a 20mm finish), rebated shiplap for maximum strength and weather resistance.
  • Ideal for heavy-duty, long-term use such as workshops, offices, and high-demand storage.
